The Jungle

Today we took the kids to the Jungle. No, not the real jungle, a play place in San Jose. The Jungle is a place that offers plenty of climbing and jumping opportunities for children ages 1 and up. Hubby had been there before at his nephews birthday party and wanted the opportunity to take his girls there. Since we no longer live in San Jose we haven't had the chance. However, this weekend we decided to visit San Jose as it had been a long time since we had been there and my Grandma needed some help.

We got to The Jungle shortly after 2 p.m. which was perfect timing. The place was pretty empty. Was this because children were in school or because it was a bit run down, smelled like pee and puke, and had many tumbling mats that were ripped and duck taped? My guess is the later. The good news is while navigating their website to prepare this post I found that they have opened a new location in San Jose and named it The Jungle Island. So next time I think we will go there!

Despite the conditions the girls really did have a great time. I think the ball pits were their favorite! KK found it found to fall backwards into the pit. Aly liked jumping together with KK into the pit. Yes, even Daddy had fun! While he couldn't jump into the ball pit, he did run around on all of the climbing mazes. The girls enjoyed that!
