Ear ring change date

Today was the day the girls were super excited for!!  The day they get to change their ear rings.  Alyssa chose dolphins to change to and Kayla chose little Husky puppies.

 Alyssa has been contemplating getting her ears pierced for a year.  We even watched two 7 year old girls get their ears pierced a month ago so Alyssa could see how it was done and what their reactions were. 

She finally decided she was ready.  She was quite nervous though.  Kayla went first and she saw that Kayla thought it hurt quite a bit.

 Here she is after it was done.

 Moments later after the initial pain wore off she was so happy and so proud of herself for going through with it.

 She picked the the neutral ear rings because she said since she had to wear them for 6 weeks she wanted them to be able to match all outfits.

We were lucky too and the frog ear rings that Grandma W has were on clearance for $1 a pair so both girls got a pair of those for when their 6 week period is up.

Ear Piercing

 The girls decided to get their ears pierced today.  So we took the drive down to the mall to get it done.  I did not do a good job preparing Kayla for it.  The ladies that did the piercing told her it was just a little pinch.  So she was not nervous at all.

 Poor girl, she was shocked at how much it did hurt.  She did good though.

 She picked out My Little Pony ear rings since that is one of her favorite things right now along side of Pokemon.
