Kayla's bee sting

Poor Kayla got a bee sting at school today.  They were concerned because it was so swollen and sent her home early.  Thankfully after a little ibuprofen the swelling went down and she was all better.

 Ed and I had fun watching them load the oak trees that were next to the garage and two more cedars.  We were surprised the kids didn't find it fascinating.

 Alyssa and I had a great night out.  We had delicious dinner at Mel's and then went to see a movie.  She loved her milkshake!  Look how beautiful she is!!!!

The girls wanted bangs

 The girls have been asking for weeks to have bangs cut so I finally gave in.  I couldn't get a good picture of Kayla because the camera flash kept bugging her eyes.

First day of school

 The girls were so happy to be reunited with their friends on the first day of school. 

 Summer just had to join in on all the picture taking fun!!!!!

The girls wanted to try tent camping.  What better way to introduce them than staying in our very own front yard.  After all, we live on 5 beautifully forested acres, it is like camping just living here!
