Summer shave

 Shasta had way long hair and it has been so hot!  Time for a shave which took me nearly the entire afternoon!!!

Random Snow

 I didn't see this snow storm coming.  Random snow for sure!  It was coming down hard and fast.

 The dogs are happy!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

 We went to our friends house for an Easter Egg hunt.  They invited our little Comet to come and have a little doggie play date.  It was fun to watch them learn to play together and establish dominance.  Of course Comet wanted to be in control.  He really must be one of us..lol.

 There were 10 kids at the Easter Egg hunt.  They gave the 2 and 3 year old a two minute head start.

 There is Summer in the blue dress running quick to pick up her eggs.  Unfortunately, she started picking up the eggs and shaking them.  If they made a sound she kept them, if not she dropped them on the ground.  Little did she know the eggs that didn't make a sound had a prize slip in them to pick out a prize.  Little stinker dropped all of those eggs and the hard boiled ones.  Her sister Alyssa gave her one of her prize slips so she could pick out a prize.  Hopefully she             learned her lesson.

Comet takes a car ride

 This week we have been taking Comet in the car with us when we drive the kids to school in the morning.  We want to get him used to driving in the car.  He is still quite a bit scared and uncomfortable.  He prefers sitting in the back seat in the middle of the kids.

Dress up

 Kayla dressed up Comet in one of her Build A Bear Sweaters.  He didn't really like it.

 Meanwhile Summer decided to play dress up on her own.

Kayla just had to wrap up and bundle Comet in a blanket for a nap.

Snow day fun!

It snowed enough so that school was cancelled.  The girls were really happy to be able to stay home and play in the snow.

Comet had fun!

 Mostly he had fun beating up on Shasta.

Can you believe she just rolls over and lets Comet dominate her.  She is such a nice dog.

Comet's first snow

 It started snowing tonight.  The kids were excited.  We were all excited to see how Comet would react since it would be his first experience in snow.

 He doesn't mind as long as he is with his idol, Shasta!

Shasta wants to come in and warm up by the fire.

 Shasta wants to give Mommy love.

 Summer gives the puppy love, funny how she was sitting in his dog bed.
