Happy 4th of July!!

 We spent the morning kayaking with friends at the lake.

 Summer tried kayaking out for the first time.  Daddy gave her some pointers and she was on her way!!!  She loved the freedom.  She felt like such a big girl!

Later in the day we met some friends at the fairgrounds.  Summer really wanted a pony ride.

Here we are watching the fireworks.  Can you believe we all fit on two chairs?

Belt Test

 Woohoo, we all passed and are now high green!

Grandma's visit

The Grandma's visited us at the condo today.  Summer was having so much fun poofing Grandma's hair.  She was so kind to let Summer do that.

 We went down to the beach and Alyssa and Kayla built a little sand castle.

 Later that day Ed, the girls, and Grandma's took the train down to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

 Then we went to the warf.

 Alyssa was happy to see a Sea Otter playing by the warf.  How fun for her to see one in the wild.

Happy Father's Day

 Daddy woke the girls up early to go beach combing.  They found lots of shells!

 He decided for Father's Day he wanted to go to Henry Cowell State Park and look at the trees on a short hike.
