Random Snow

 I didn't see this snow storm coming.  Random snow for sure!  It was coming down hard and fast.

 The dogs are happy!!!

Snow day fun!

It snowed enough so that school was cancelled.  The girls were really happy to be able to stay home and play in the snow.

Comet had fun!

 Mostly he had fun beating up on Shasta.

Can you believe she just rolls over and lets Comet dominate her.  She is such a nice dog.

Comet's first snow

 It started snowing tonight.  The kids were excited.  We were all excited to see how Comet would react since it would be his first experience in snow.

 He doesn't mind as long as he is with his idol, Shasta!

Shasta wants to come in and warm up by the fire.

 Shasta wants to give Mommy love.

 Summer gives the puppy love, funny how she was sitting in his dog bed.

Over night snow

 I had no idea we were getting snow.  In fact it was 58 degrees yesterday.  We had quite the wind storm, many people lost power.  Thankfully we didn't.  While we were sleeping it got cold enough to snow.  The girls had school cancelled which made them super excited!  The dogs had a great time playing in it!

Bus is stuck

Today is started snow just before 7 a.m.  It was kind of late to call snow day.  Unfortunately for all of us it started coming down hard and fast as we were bringing the kids to school.  The road that leads to the middle school is curvy and steep.  This makes for difficult driving conditions in the snow.  In fact, the bus, which did have chains, got stuck and two cars also spun out below.  This made the rest of us have to park and wait until they could get the bus unstuck..which took over half an hour.

 It snowed here today.  It was supposed to be 1-3 inches but we ended up getting close to 6.  We had to go to a birthday party too so the drive home was a bit slow.
