Happy 4th of July!!

 We spent the morning kayaking with friends at the lake.

 Summer tried kayaking out for the first time.  Daddy gave her some pointers and she was on her way!!!  She loved the freedom.  She felt like such a big girl!

Later in the day we met some friends at the fairgrounds.  Summer really wanted a pony ride.

Here we are watching the fireworks.  Can you believe we all fit on two chairs?

Beach Day

 Today turned out to be a chill beach day.

 Alyssa built more sand castles.

 Kayla and Summer did more wave jumping.

The sail boat races were fun to watch.

Grandma's visit

The Grandma's visited us at the condo today.  Summer was having so much fun poofing Grandma's hair.  She was so kind to let Summer do that.

 We went down to the beach and Alyssa and Kayla built a little sand castle.

 Later that day Ed, the girls, and Grandma's took the train down to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

 Then we went to the warf.

 Alyssa was happy to see a Sea Otter playing by the warf.  How fun for her to see one in the wild.

 Today we took the girls to the Monterrey Bay Aquarium.  Of course Alyssa was in heaven as she is so in love with Sea Otter's.  She spent over a half an hour at the Sea Otter exhibit and borrowed my phone to take lots of pictures.

 They really enjoyed all the touch pools.

 This has always been a favorite place of mine to take a picture!

 After we were done at the aquarium we spent the day at the beach.

 Kayla learned how to boogie board.  She loved it!!!!

 Summer was happy as can be playing in the sand.

Daddy ended the night reading a book on the balcony.  What a beautiful view.
