Toes to match our orange belts for the tournament

With the exception of Ed we all painted our toys orange to match our orange belt for the tournament tomorrow.  I am not so fond of the color but it is fun to match our belts!

Over night snow

 I had no idea we were getting snow.  In fact it was 58 degrees yesterday.  We had quite the wind storm, many people lost power.  Thankfully we didn't.  While we were sleeping it got cold enough to snow.  The girls had school cancelled which made them super excited!  The dogs had a great time playing in it!

 Summer got to do her first board break today.  She did a hammer fist.  She was so proud and excited!  It was so cute watching all of the kinderkickers break their first board.

Alyssa gets a new haircut

 Alyssa had decided to go back to short hair which I think looks totally cute on her!

Valentine's chocolate covered strawberries

 We did our annual chocolate covered strawberries.  Kayla wasn't so interested but the other two had a great time!  They covered them with so many decorations.

 Summer had so much fun holding the paddle for her instructor to kick..it was cute so I just had to snap a picture.

Bus is stuck

Today is started snow just before 7 a.m.  It was kind of late to call snow day.  Unfortunately for all of us it started coming down hard and fast as we were bringing the kids to school.  The road that leads to the middle school is curvy and steep.  This makes for difficult driving conditions in the snow.  In fact, the bus, which did have chains, got stuck and two cars also spun out below.  This made the rest of us have to park and wait until they could get the bus unstuck..which took over half an hour.
