We are so lucky to be able to live on 5 gorgeous treed acres. We have many options of trees to choose from to cut down and use as our Christmas tree. This year we went near the power lines and chose this tree because PGE will be coming through in a few weeks and removing 12 trees along the line. This tree would likely have been damaged from their work. We ended up with a 9 foot tree after we trimmed the top and trimmed up the bottom a bit. I love the smell and when you cut down a tree from your own property and get water for it right away it doesn't dry out.
