Summer draws Kayla a picture

We were all pretty impressed when Summer drew Kayla a picture of her favorite dragon Night Fury from the movie How To Train Your Dragon.  Pretty good job for a 5 year old!!!

Summer Shasta Cuddles

 Summer enjoyed some cuddles from Shasta today.

When she was finished she made Shasta lay still so she could draw a picture of her.

Alyssa makes a sea otter Valentine's box

 Alyssa misses second grade, back when they made their own Valentine's day boxes.  She decided to make this otter box at home.  She is bummed though because as a big, 6th grade girl, they no longer celebrate Valentine's day at school.

 Alyssa drew all these a few days ago.  We are so impressed with her talent.  Great job Alyssa.  Maybe I can write a book someday and you can be the illustrator. 

Kayla art

Kayla's art creation from school.  I like to try and take pictures so they can look through my blog when the grow up and see some of the art work they created.  She did this one at school.

Kayla's wolf drawing

Kayla drew this wolf.  She wanted me to scan it in and print out a copy so she could keep one copy and sell one at her Friday auction.  She is getting really good at drawing!!!

 Alyssa is getting quite good at cartoon drawings.  She is especially proud of the eyes she draws on people.

Alyssa has a painting in an art gallery

Alyssa and Kayla have been taking an art class this summer.  Alyssa made the painting of the little dog on the bottom left.  She was very proud it was selected to be in an art gallery on Main Street.  We were all so proud of her we went down and saw it together!!!!
