Leaving for Southern California

 We decided to drive the smaller more fuel efficient Honda CRV to Southern California today.  The drive to our first stop is 6 hours.  I thought by giving the kids head phones, rented redbox movies, and tablets we would have a nice, quiet, drive.  NOPE!!!  Amazing how much children can fight in the back seat of a car no matter how much entertainment they have.  If I could afford it I would pay someone else to drive my kids...LOL.

When we got to the hotel we had dinner at Denny's.  Since we rarely eat out the kids were super excited!!  Tomorrow we head to Carlsbad which is only supposed to be a two and a half hour drive.
