Summer's Chuck E Cheese Party

 Summer really wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate her birthday with some friends.  On her actual birthday we will be on vacation in Santa Cruz.  So we decided to let her invite two friends.  Mommy took Summer, Alyssa, Antonio and Toni to Chuck E Cheese while Daddy took Kayla and Quinn to Sunsplash for her birthday party.

 This was Toni's first time to Chuck E Cheese..she had so much fun!

 Antonio had fun playing all the games.  Alyssa was my big helper.  I couldn't have done it without her.  She would always help watch one kid while I would watch Summer and the other kid.

They ate the whole pizza!

 Afterwards we went to Baskin Robbins for ice cream.

Antonio bought Summer a pokemon stuffed animal..she was thrilled of course!

Bigger chicken coop

 Since we lost two chickens to coyotes in mid may we had to make a new larger chicken coop.  Ed made the new coop 10  feet by 30 feet long.  We also moved the 6 young chicks out to the coop with the 3 remaining hens.  Now we have 9 chickens altogether.  Can't wait until they are all laying eggs!

11th Birthday

 Happy 11th birthday Kayla.  For lunch Kayla chose to go to the pizza factory!

 It was too hot to bake a cake so Kayla chose a sprinkled cake from Safeway!

7/8 grade dance

 The 7th graders were alowed to join the 8th grade graduation dance.  This year's theme was travel.  The parents did a great job of decorating different places from around the world.

 Kiely and Alyssa had fun taking pictures with all of the props.

 The chocolate fondue station was so delicious!

 Tommy was being silly and dancing with the inflatable airplane.

Field trip to the lake

 Wow, what a busy day today was.  Kayla had a school field trip to the lake all day from 8:30-3:00.  I then was recruited to volunteer for the 8th grade graduation ceremony and dance from 6:00-11:00.

Kayla really enjoyed hanging out with her friends at the field trip.  Lots of swimming and fun in the sun!

Alyssa's sleepover party

 

 Alyssa chose to have 3 girls over.  We went to Round Table Pizza for dinner and then went to the movies to see Alice Through the Looking Glass.

 Shockingly there was barely anybody in the theater.  Friday night at 7 on the second night the movie was playing..nice for us!

The next morning the girls chose to have a water fight.

Oddly enough the chickens didn't mind...

Happy 13th

 Oh no..Alyssa is turning 13 today!!  I have a teenage daughter.  Brace me for these next 7 years!!

 We picked up Alyssa early from school and took her to Mel's Diner for lunch!

She chose ice cream instead of a cake for her birthday!

The Chicken Whisperer

 Summer is enjoying being with the chickens and trying to hand feed them.

I love the Silver Pheonix she is holding..super beautiful chicken.
