Wow, could it be? Are we really getting snow on May 22nd? Shouldn't it be spring yet? What a cold, cold winter and spring we have had. Can't wait to see some sunshine around here! It has been so confusing to know when to bring out the warm weather clothing. Usually by the end of April we can already wear shorts! After all we are in California! I took a quick video of the snow coming down just to prove it! We were all so in shock!

Possible Hurdle
Today I had my OBGYN check up for the pregnancy. Feeling like I might have a bladder infection I asked them to check my urine. Turns out I was right, I have a bladder infection. What a bummer! With Aly I went into preterm labor when I was 35 weeks pregnant and they believe it was due to a bladder infection. We tried a few different rounds of antibiotics but they never took the infection away. I never got rid of the infection until after Aly was born.
Knowing this I am going to try and do some alternatives this time. I don't want to go into preterm labor so I will try the antibiotics they prescribed but I am also going to try some diet changes. The Dr. suggested purchasing cranberry tablets which I did today and will begin taking four a day. Apparently cranberry inhibits the growth of bacteria so while it can't take the infection away, at least it can't get any worse.
I am going to have to cut out sugars and soda too. Major bummer, maybe I can just curl up in bed and sleep all day!
Anyway, if any of you have experienced this and did some natural methods please let me know what worked for you. In the meantime, let's hope this doesn't throw me into preterm labor. We need to try and get to at least 36-37 weeks!
